Craig Halstead has kindly contributed Part 2 of his historical East Coast, North island series. Here’s what he had to say:

“I Collect old super 8 movie footage, no production stuff just amateur stuff, most of this sat under a bed in a suitcase for 25 years, these guys, we were all friends and still are to this day. These were filmed on 4 minute reels, then were sent away to get processed, a week later you would get it back then set up a projector and a screen then run your 4 minutes. After 3 or 4 times it gets a bit boring and as it was a bit of an effort to set up. It wasn’t seen a lot.”
