I first met Craig Halstead in 2006. It was my first time on the Gold Coast. I was shooting at D’bah with Maz and Jay Quinn when Craig wandered over and gave me some friendly advice on what tripod I should be using, camera specs, and all manner of friendly banter. Recently Craig got in contact and offered to put together some clips for longwhitecloud.tv. In his first installment we take a look back 40 years at footage that was shot on the East Coast of the North Island sometime during the early 70′s.
